We All Need a Dream

We all need a dream for tomorrow,

A goal to strive to attain,

A dream for a better tomorrow

Where love might truly reign.

For God put us here for a purpose;

Let us not stand idly by,

But fasten our dream to a rainbow

And for its fulfillment strive.

Dreams are like stars in the heavens

Which seem, oh, so faraway;

Yet, let not these dreams elude us

But keep them alive each day.

We all need a dream to master,

A dream to gladden the heart,

A dream that will help make better

God's world . . . of which we're a part.
