I was born in El Paso, Texas on June 13, 1947. I graduated from Bel Air High School in 1967. I moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico in 1968 to get away from the "big city". In 1979, I began working for Dr. Claude Blain, ENT as a receptionist until he moved away in 1988. This prompted me to get a job working Dr. James Purpura as a receptionist and medical records clerk. I worked for Dr. Purpura until March 2003.

I have attended many seminars and have received various training pertaining to the medical records field. In 1999, I obtained a certificate from the Medical Educational Services regarding medical records training. I have always been interested in working with the public and helping others.

I am a new employee of the Jeff Diamond Law Firm and I enjoy being here very much. The employees are all so very nice and helpful. The attorneys are just great!

I have four children and seven grandchildren. I am married to Wayland Newberry. We live on a ranch in Artesia, New Mexico. My hobbies include bowling, reading, listening to gospel music and going to ranch rodeos.
