I was born in Los Angeles, California in the summer of 1955. At the age of three months, I moved to El Paso, Texas.
Growing up in El Paso was great. The majority of my childhood was spent raising and caring for a menagerie of exotic pets. The responsibility that came with caring for these animals instilled a great and longlasting passion to care for the needs of others with ceaseless compassion.
After high school, I began working as a dental assistant, and did that for fifteen years. The next sixteen years of my career were spent in management positions as a buyer and manager for a specialty high fashion boutique, executive assistant to the senior Pastor and three support ministers for a large church, and and executive assistant to the VP of Economic Development and Governmental Affairs for the Chamber of Commerce in El Paso. The past eight years were dedicated to social services and human needs. As Director of Development for Visiting Nurse Association of El Paso, my job was to raise funds to serve home-bound patients and provide home health care charitable services through means of resources from writing grants, fundraising and charitable events, Public Relations and Public Speaking.
An opportunity took me to the Appalachian hills of West Virginia where I worked as Director of Development for a crisis shelter for abused and neglected children and adolescents. These positions prepared for greater tasks managing in the El Paso office for the Jeff Diamond Law Firm.
My passion to serve people, enhanced with a lifetime of skills and resourcefulness will be dedicated to the individuals who seek assistance and relief from the suffering of disabilities through our firm.
