The majority of my adult years I have been domiciled in Carlsbad, Eddy County, New Mexico with the exception of a few years when I lived in South America. Most of my time in Carlsbad has been spent in one law office or another. I also worked five years at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant and three years as Executive Secretary to Senator Don Kidd and Western Commerce Bank. I have also worked the last three years for Representative John Heaton during the New Mexico Legislative Session.
I have two associate degrees from New Mexico State University and am within four credit hours of having earned my degree as a paralegal.
I am a past president of National Association of Legal Secretaries; Past President of American Business Women and their 1980 Woman of the Year; past president of Eddy County Democrat Womens Association; serve on the State Central Committee for the Eddy County Democrat party; presently am a member of New Mexico Does Drove #43; serve as secretary for New Mexico South District of Does; am a past president and I am also the 2003 president of Carlsbad Does Drove #43.
I have worked in the Jeff Diamond Law Firm for the past few years and am in love with my job, especially helping disabled people with their claim for Social Security benefits, a new and most rewarding field in the law office for me.
Last year I married Tom Davidson, a Carlsbad native. I have two married sons who have wonderful wives and who have provided me with 4 grandchildren.
