I received my Associates' Degree in Business from New Mexico Junior College in 1968. I also attended Texas Christian University and Texas Tech University. From 1968 through 1980 I was employed primarily in the financial industry, holding positions beginning with teller and ending in the position of Assistant Cashier for Moncor Bank, Carlsbad, New Mexico, which I resigned when I married in 1980. In 1982, I received my New Mexico Real Estate Sales License and in 1985 I obtained my New Mexico Property and Casualty Insurance License. In 1989 I began working at Guaranty Title Company as an Escrow Officer. I resigned that position in 1992 in order to accept a position with Western Commerce Bank in the Trust Department. I retired from my position of Trust Officer in 2002. I am a graduate of the Cannon Financial Schools, a three-year program designed especially for Trust Professionals.
In my position as Trust Officer, I handled probates, estates, court-appointed conservatorships, investment agencies, and trusts. I have assisted Jeff Diamond on an as-needed basis for cases within my area of expertise since February 2003. I enjoy working with people and assisting them with the intricacies of estate settlement, and am able to facilitate the prompt completion of these cases.
I have lived in Carlsbad since 1980 and have three grown sons and five grandchildren, all living in Houston, Texas. All three of my sons graduated from Carlsbad High School and one is a graduate of the NMSU-Carlsbad Nursing Program.
