The Jeffrey B. Diamond Law Firm

Martha Fleming,
Supervisor

Martha Fleming has 19 years' experience in dealing with the Social Security Administration on behalf of claimants. She first worked as District Assistant to a U.S. Congressman, helping establish and manage an office which served five counties in West Texas, assisting constituents with problems they encountered with government agencies. In 1992, she co-founded a company to assist hospitals and medical providers in obtaining medical payments for their uninsured patients. The company has been very successful, growing to assist over 11 hospitals throughout West Texas. This work required extensive expertise with the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Disability programs administered by Social Security. Her company assisted thousands of patients in applying for these and other programs and Martha personally assisted clients in all aspects of the claim from initial application through appeals, hearings before Administrative Law Judges, and financial eligibility updates with Social Security Claims Representatives ensuring the patient obtained all coverage available. She continues to enjoy a good working relationship with this agency.

In 2002, she sold her interest in the company and joined the Jeffrey B. Diamond Law Firm in September 2003 to assist the many clients the firm represents. She enjoys helping people and sees this endeavor as more of a ministry than work, even though it is a very demanding effort.

Martha was educated in Pecos, Texas and then attended the University of North Texas before marrying her childhood sweetheart and embarking on life's many adventures. She and her husband Larry have been happily married for 34 years. They have resided in Andrews. She has two grown daughters, Andra and Marissa, and a fine son in law, Zach, all of whom she is very proud. She has two "grand" puppies so far, and two cats.

Martha is very involved with her Church community, playing the guitar and leading worship and other pursuits of this group. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, decorating an occasional house or working in her flower garden.
