The Jeffrey B. Diamond Law Firm

Margaret Thomas-Gee,
Legal Assistant

I have worked for Jeff Diamond since June 1999 as a legal assistant. I am very proud of the fact that I am the wife of a wonderful husband, Raymond Gee, and the mother/stepmother of two sons, Logan and David. Born and raised in Carlsbad, New Mexico, I am a 1991 graduate of Carlsbad High School. During my senior year, I won such awards as "Who's Who Among American High School Students" and NMSU Alumni Association: Honor Scholar Academic Achievement Award, as well as several scholarship awards. I have taken some basic college classes while attending West Coast Christian College in Fresno, California and New Mexico State University in Carlsbad. My past work history primarily involves working with senior citizens in several retirement communities in the fields of social services and activities. In 1998, I completed my hours and training to become a Certified Activities Director through the State of New Mexico.

From 1994-1997, I volunteered as an adolescent counselor for the Special People Program, a branch of the Palmer Drug Abuse Program in Hobbs, New Mexico. I am currently an active member of Landmark Baptist Church. I sing in a gospel duet called "One Heart" and it has become a major part of my life. The ministry primarily involves traveling on weekends to sing at various churches and community events.

I met Jeff Diamond in 1999 and it was a short time later that he offered me a job at the Jeff Diamond Law Firm. He understood that I had no experience in the legal field and he gave me a chance anyway. I have seen in my years of working for Jeff that he is a very generous man, a hard fighter, and a team player for the "little man." He proved this when he hired me with very little experience. It hasn't always been an easy job, but it is definitely rewarding, because it is challenging, fast-paced, and a great learning experience that will remain with me indefinitely.

I am a "people person" and it is a true blessing when I see us win cases for our clients. I have seen clients come into our office, discouraged, without a sense of direction and leave with a sense of surety and peace of mind because we are able to assist them. Jeff is a hard worker and he expects nothing less from his support staff. It is a privilege to be a part of a workplace that makes a difference!
